A wind breaker serves a function that most other jackets do not. It is mostly water-proof & is meant to only protect against the harsh winds & so is lighter & has less cloth material. It keeps the wearer only relatively warm but due to the thin nature, allows for it to be brought or worn around almost any where. It also has a slight professional look to it with multiple functional pockets that are useful for carrying around tools or notes.
